This page explains how to delete your Openview account and what happens to your data. Openview is published by Juturna, and is available for Android as well as on the web.
You only have an account if you chose to create one. Openview works fully without signing in — if you never signed in, there is nothing on our servers to delete, and clearing the app or your browser data removes everything.
Email us and we will delete the account and everything stored with it. This works whether or not you still have the app installed.
If you signed in with Google and are not sure which address that was, send the request from the Google account you used.
A Delete account button is being added to the account settings screen, so you can remove everything yourself without emailing us. Until it ships, the email route above is the way to request deletion, and it deletes exactly the same data.
Everything below is tied to your account and is removed permanently:
| Data | What it is |
|---|---|
| Your login | Your email address, your password if you set one, and the link to your Google account if you signed in that way. |
| Your profile | Display name, username, email and avatar link. |
| Profile picture | Any avatar image you uploaded is deleted from our file storage as a separate, explicit step — it is not removed automatically with the account. |
| Journal | Your trades and notes. |
| Wallet | Portfolios, holdings, purchase and sale history, value snapshots, and the public wallet addresses you track. |
| Charts | Watchlists, drawings, indicators, chart layouts, templates, Pine scripts and chart settings. |
| Alerts | Your price alerts and their history. |
| Notifications | The push token for every device you signed in on, so your phone stops receiving alerts. |
| Preferences | Language, accent colour, sidebar layout and DEX settings. |
We action requests within 7 days. Once done, your account and its data are gone from the live database immediately.
Our database provider keeps automated backups for disaster recovery, and those backups may still contain a copy of your data until they age out. All copies are gone within 30 days of your request. Backups are never used to restore a deleted account — only to recover the service after a failure.
For anything about deletion or your data, email openviewteam@gmail.com. See also our Privacy policy.
